My sister and her fiance have decided that they would like to enjoy the company of family members longer than a couple of hours at their wedding. They made reservations on Carnival Cruise Line for anyone that wants to go. They said they can go out of town alone together anytime, but while family members are in town for the wedding, we should take a vacation together. My dad said it's like having company on their honeymoon, but they travel together all the time and they want a chance to spend time with everyone. At the weddings I've been to, the bride and groom do not even notice who is there or not there. They are too caught up in everything to make rounds to say Hello. My sister said we will be able to swim with the dolphins. They took these pictures in early June when they went on a small three day cruise. She is always trying to get me to go, but I have not been able to schedule them around school. Their wedding is April 12, 2008 and the cruise starts on April 14, 2008. Of course, this does not fall during Spring Break because that would be too perfect. So now I have to beg my professors to work with me so I can go on the cruise. It is probably going to be tough missing a week of school that close to graduation, but maybe it'll all work out. I would love to go.

Once Jake and I got to our honeymoon, I wished our families could have come. The week before the wedding was so stressful that I was totally out of it at my wedding. I had to go back and look at pictures and my guest book to find out who was there. Your sister will probably LOVE having family with her in the days as a new bride. I sure would have!

You need to definitely try to go on the cruise. They are a blast I recently got back from my second cruise right before summer school started. It was a Royal Caribbean cruise out of Galveston Texas that sailed the southern Caribbean.

What a chance of a lifetime! You've got to go! That's so sweet of your sister to want to share such a special time with the family. This will be something that you will remember the rest of your life. The wedding itself will be a stressful time. This will be a great way for the family to de-stress and enjoy themselves.

I agree with all these posts....you have got to go on that cruise!! You will regret it forever if you don't! Just make sure you do really good the rest of the semester so, even if your professors get mad at you, will still pass your classes! You will be making memories on the cruise that will last a lifetime!

What they said! And, you know, if you talk to your professors at the beginning of the semester and send them a reminder email, that shouldn't be a problem. And, if you have work due that week, or tests, offer to turn in/take the tests early. Your professors will be impressed.

And you know, if the profs give you a hard time, it's probably because they are jealous!

Do it!
